For over 30 years, ArkDes has invited children, young people, adults, amateurs, and professionals to showcase their gingerbread creations at the museum on Skeppsholmen.<\/p>\n

Building with gingerbread dough is a playful way to explore architecture and design. Gingerbread bakers find creative solutions for construction, durability, functionality, and decoration—just like architects and designers do in real life.<\/p>\n

More than an exhibition<\/p>\n

The way participants interpret this year’s theme is a key element, as Gingerbread House<\/em> is not just a showcase for creative gingerbread designs—it’s also a competition.<\/p>\n
